Devoted Canine Training Packages

Devoted Canine Training offers a range of packages to meet any dog owner’s needs, from complete beginner to advanced obedience. Unlike other “copy and paste” training programs in the region, each of Devoted Canine’s programs is specifically tailored to the individual dog at hand.

Owners work one-on-one with Diana and her three model dogs: Aria, Aroe, and Zeke. In the process, you’ll learn to communicate with your dog better, and you’ll gain a variety of approaches to be confident with their dog in any situation.

Whether you are dealing with reactivity, leash training, recall, or any other challenge, Devoted Canine Training will work with you and your dog to achieve excellent results. Learn more about the packages that Devoted Canine Training offers below:

Boarding School

individualized attention and training for your dog.

Our Boarding School provides a stress-free environment for your dog to learn basic/advanced obedience in a shorter time frame.

Program Itinerary

  1. Behavioral Consultation

  2. Pick Up/Drop Off to your home

  3. 4-10 weeks of training in the DCT School (varies by level)

  4. “Welcome Home” Session - This session occurs at the time of drop-off, where we give the owner a rundown of the lessons learned while their animal was away. This review is primarily to teach owners how to maintain and exercise the training tactics used during their stay at DCT Boarding School.

  5. Behavioral Review - This session is designed to ensure that the training has upheld two weeks after graduating from DCT Boarding School.

Who’s it for:

  • Puppies and/or adult dogs that do not require severe behavioral modifications

  • Parent’s who are pressed for time

  • Customizable packages to fit pet owner’s busy schedules

What we’ll cover:

  • Confidence building

  • E-Collar training

  • House manners

  • Daily trips and opportunities to socialize with other dogs

  • Enrichment activities - including nature walks, doggie puzzles, etc.

 

Basic Obedience

Learn to build confidence with your dog and begin to develop your relationship with them.

Who’s it for:

  • dogs who need an introduction to basic skills and to begin practicing obedience and responsiveness to the owner

What we’ll cover:

  • program will be tailored to the individual dog

  • sit, down, stay, and other basic commands

  • leash training and heel

  • “place” command

Advanced Obedience

Take your dog’s skills to the next level.

Who’s it for:

  • dogs who have mastered basic obedience and are ready for advanced challenges

What we’ll cover:

  • extended stay, down

  • off-leash training

  • traveling with your dog in public: at bars, restaurants, hikes, and stores

Group Classes

Train with your dog alongside other dedicated owners

Who’s it for:

  • dogs and owners of all levels

What we’ll cover:

  • behavior around other dogs in controlled environments

  • fun activities including: kayaking, haunted house tours, brewery trips, and more

Price: variable by class

All dogs must be enrolled in a package, or pre-approved by Diana to go to a group class.
